Gabriella is an Italian Actress and Model.
She loves exploring the feeling of being somebody else, fitting in their shoes, understanding their motivations, and most importantly making the audience live the experiences, the emotions, the lessons, the life of the characters represented.
Born in Ragusa (Sicily), in the south of Italy, far from the spotlight of the world of cinema; since childhood Gabriella has nourished her passion for the arts and her joy in entertainment.
She was still a high school student when she was called to perform with the “Scuola Teatrale Dyonisos”, a drama group listed, by INDA (National Institute of Ancient Drama), among the twelve best Italian schools of theatre, and performed in Theater Plays, on a variety of genres. This helped her and her characters open and grow on many different levels, emotionally, physically, and vocally.
In 2013, she graduated from Whistling Woods International Institute of Film, Communication & Media Arts, and in the same period she played a supporting role in a Bollywood film Yaariyan, of T-Series Production, one of the most important production company in Bollywood, and directed by Divya Kusla Kumar. The movie won the Star Box Office India Award 2014 for the Film Album of the Year, and the Stardust Award India for the Best Music Director.
Gabriella was starring in fact also in the Video Music of one of the movie’s songs, titled ‘Paani Paani‘ and played by the famous singer Yo-Yo Honey Singh. The video music recorded more than 18 millions views.
Since then she has been involved in numerous other projects, allowing her to gain insights into successfully performing in the film industry, where notable Directors and Photographers valued and enjoyed her inputs and contributions and appreciated her contagious energy in the set and her lovely presence in great collaboration with the camera.
She starred in TV commercials such as Tuborg Zero, directed by Uzer Khan for the 30 Seconds of Fame Production, Alor Coconut Water, for the US Group Vink&Beri LLC, under the direction of Kailash Surendranath and the photography by Dabboo Ratnani, and Exhibit Calendar, co-produced by the prestigious Exhibit Magazine and HTC Mobile, as well as in numerous photo-shoots for various well known brands. Meanwhile she played leading or co-leading roles in a number of short films.
Gabriella is now living in Los Angeles, driven by the two essential elements to achieve the success in life: follow your passion and strive for excellence.
In LA she works in new projects and follows a training and specialization program with the Michelle Danner Acting Studio at the Edgemar Center for Arts, while playing the role of Frida in the musical A Night at The Black Cat Cabaret, by Brian Drillinger and Michelle Danner, a successful musical play in stage since February 2016.
